Summary

Taught by our resident SAS Experts at ThotWave, you’ll learn to efficiently write and debug your programs.

This interactive course, designed by SAS Partners ThotWave, will teach you practical skills and tactical applications to simplify SAS programming, including how to use the layout of the panes, work with programs, logs, results, and data sets. You will learn how to use tasks, wizards, autocomplete, and inline help to make programming faster and more efficient. In addition, course content includes how to take a program and identify the input and output data sets, which is particularly useful for maintaining and updating program change requests.

During the lessons, there are plenty of opportunities for simulations and hands-on activities so you will have the option to practice using Enterprise Guide to enhance your SAS skills and become a more efficient programmer. Once you’ve completed all the course requirements, you’ll be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

Audience

Experienced SAS programmers who are new to the SAS Enterprise Guide interface.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of SAS programming. Specifically, you should be able to write a DATA step with a SET statement, a PROC SORT step, and a WHERE statement.

Time to Complete

Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes for videos, activities, and knowledge checks. You can take this course from anywhere, on your own time, whenever it is convenient for you.
