- What types of courses do you offer?
We realize that everyone learns differently and may need different modalities as to fit learning into their day to day routine. We offer a combination of self-paced eLearning, live virtual classes, and in-person workshops depending on the course goals.
- What skills do I need to take a course?
Most of the time you just need enthusiasm and curiosity to get started. Our objective is to make health analytic thinking approachable to all regardless of backgrounds. Some courses may have unique pre-enrollment requirements to ensure success.
- How much does it cost to take a course?
Course cost varies by the type of modality and the expected length of learning. In general, longer courses with more direct instructor interaction are higher cost than short, self-paced courses.
- How long do I have to complete the course?
You are not under any obligation to complete a course when purchased. You will have access to course materials for 6 months from purchase.
- What is the coaching course add-on?
Upgrading a course with the coaching option will give you access to 90 minutes of one-on-one mentoring with the instructor. This takes place over two distinct sessions.
- Do you offer discounts for large teams?

- What type of computer/software do I need?
You can view Healthcare Analytics Academy courses on a computer or mobile device including tablets and smart phones. We support the following browsers:
- Google Chrome (recommended)
- Internet Explorer 11
- Microsoft Edge
You need a reliable high-speed internet connection and a computer with at least 1GB of memory. Certain courses may require specific software packages, which will be outlined on the course description page.
- Do I have to complete a lesson in one sitting or session?
For those courses that are self-paced, you can stop and resume at any time, on any device. Just log back into your account. If you miss a live virtual class, recordings will be posted after each session.
- Can I sign up anytime?
Yes, you can enroll anytime through our online enrollment process. o Self-paced eLearning courses are available immediately. Courses that have a live component will have a specific enrollment window as noted in the course description.
- I chose to do a Free Trial. How does this work?
When you sign up for a trial period, you get access to trial parts of our courses. You can view those lessons anytime but need to pay for the full course to take the full course.
- I didn't like the course. May I get a refund?
We want you to be happy with your learning experience and are continuously tuning our courses based on instructor feedback. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work to find a solution.
- Do you offer classes close to my city?

- Can we have a course customized for our company?

- Do you teach onsite courses?

Exams and Certification:
- Do I get a certificate?
Learners will receive a certificate of completion when they successfully complete a course. Some courses require a passing grade for completion while others do not.
- Do all courses have final exams?
No, not all courses have a final assessment. The use of this evaluation tool depends on the goal of the course and will be described in the course description.
- If I don't pass the exam, can I retake the course and retry?
We understand that sometimes you can learn a lot but still fail to pass at the first try. For courses that require a passing grade, there will be resubmission opportunities for specific coursework deliverables. This will be discussed by your instructor.
